Nocturnal AM skywave. Distant stations skip off the ionosphere after dark and drop with terrain, which is your "parish line" effect. The names are a border-blaster preacher station and pattern-hungry ears. Eighty-six posts and not one recording, which tells you everything.

doc i recorded it tonight. twenty minutes, clean signal, dash mount, fresh tape. played it back at the house and the tape is just road noise and my blinker. the blinker was not on, but thats a separate problem. it was reading slow tonight. im done logging for the week somebody else take westbound
