long time lurker. i have 9 pages of the old site out of a search engine cache from before january. full posts, comments and all. do i just... paste them here? feels wrong to sit on them but also feels wrong to post them. the comments have names in them.

Names in the comments is your answer, cher. Rule one didn't get old just because the pages did.

For once I agree with the consensus position. Caches get edited like anything else, and provenance matters even for ghost stories. Send them to the source for verification, not to a message board.

archive_rat. Do not paste them. Send them through the show line and I will check them against my notebooks like everything else that comes back.

And so it is on the record: two of the nine pages you described to me are not pages I wrote. I want to see those first.
