Consolidated index, since nobody reads page one: lights (methane), radio (skywave), coats (inventory drift), windbreakers (survey contractors), and shame on page 61 for the Chapman speculation. Three years of this board and every mystery has resolved to a mundane cause or insufficient data. No exceptions. That is post 996.🕷️

Post 998. I am aware of the number.I drove out to the Chevreuil treeline tonight to settle the luminance-distribution question with a calibrated light meter, and I am writing this from the truck because I want the timestamp on record before I go in. The meter read nothing. I want that understood. The meter read NOTHING while I was looking directly at them. Seven. I counted twice.
I have one more post's worth of explanation, and before I write it I need to check the lost-and-found column of the parish paper.
Locked at 998, by request. Doc called the show line at three in the morning from the Chevreuil landing and asked me to lock this thread before he got home, and to leave post 998 where it stands so he cannot take it back.
